One difference between entering hours into an application vs a spreadsheet is that when you’re using a spreadsheet, you can just start with yesterday’s crew and their hours, and save those as today’s crew and hours as a starting point. To save you starting from scratch every day, Abio let’s you modify yesterday’s crews and generate their initial timesheets. In that way, you have a starting point like you did when you used a spreadsheet.
Click on the tab on the left hand side that says ‘Today’s Jobs’:
These are the same jobs and crews from yesterday. Make any changes to reflect where they’re working today. You can change the job, or click on the crew hot link to add and remove workers from the crew:
A new screen will display with all your employees:
Employees with recent timesheets are sorted at the top of the list, and employees on the currently selected crew are highlighted. Clicking on a highlighted crew member removes them from the crew. Clicking again adds them to the crew.

And you can also filter by union and occupation:
Additionally you can filter on the status of the employee. All employees, past, present and new hires, are available for selection:
When you’ve made a change to the current crew, the Save button will display:
When you click save, you will be returned to the ‘Today’s Jobs’ screen with the new crew listed. You can use the ‘add a row’ button to add a new crew:
